The aim of the safety policy is to promote the implementation of these principles by defining the basic principles, obligations and objectives on the basis of which the company&#8217;s activities are organised and decisions are made. <\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"327\"><strong>2. <\/strong>To ensure safety, O\u00dc Railtech has implemented a safety management system in accordance with point 9 of Directive 2016\/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 May 2016 on railway safety and the safety policy is one of the key elements of this system.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"592\"><strong>3.<\/strong> O\u00dc Railtech&#8217;s security policy has been developed taking into account the requirements of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018\/762 of 8 March 2018, which establishes common security methods in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016\/798. of the European Parliament and of the Council , concerning requirements for security management systems and repealing Commission Regulations (EU) No 1158\/2010 and (EU) No 1169\/2010, and is maintained in accordance with the assessment of business strategies. and the safety performance of O\u00dc Railtech.    <\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1069\"><strong>4. <\/strong>O\u00dc Railtech undertakes:<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1095\"><strong>a. See <\/strong>  all applicable international, European Union and national regulatory requirements<br>and other safety-related requirements;<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1265\"><strong>b. monitor security <\/strong>arising from their own operations and the dangers posed by other rail system actors;<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1372\"><strong>c. continuously maintain and improve <\/strong>  your safety management system<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1435\"><strong>d.<\/strong> <strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">maintain the roadworthiness of the vehicles in their possession<\/strong> in accordance with the vehicle maintenance records and any applicable requirements;<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1581\"><strong>e. raise awareness of road safety among staff <\/strong>  and its role in ensuring it.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1666\"><b>5<\/b> In order to achieve the objectives of the safety policy and to meet the commitments, the following guiding principles are defined and shall apply to the operation of the company:<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1801\"><strong>a. Subordination and coordination   <\/strong>&#8211; the company&#8217;s plans, activities, technological processes, resources, equipment and internal regulations are considered in the context of all external regulations;<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1801\"><strong style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\" data-renderer-mark=\"true\">b. liability <\/strong><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">  &#8211; everyone is responsible for the quality of their work, decisions and actions. Ensuring a culture of high accountability at all levels of the company; <\/span><\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"1801\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">c. Professionalism<\/strong>  &#8211; Professional, educated, skilled and motivated employees are the key to a company&#8217;s success. Maintaining and improving staff knowledge and skills, ensuring motivation;<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2357\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">d. development<\/strong>  &#8211; Continuous improvement of processes, the introduction of more advanced technologies, methods and tools are necessary to promote the safety of rail traffic and the working environment, as well as to ensure maximum efficiency in the use of resources and minimise environmental impact.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"2628\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">e. openness and cooperation<\/strong>  &#8211; Informing and involving company employees, as well as customers, suppliers, regulators and other industry stakeholders, in the development, implementation and review of documents, processes and other regulations to ensure that the interests and requirements of all stakeholders are met in safety.<br><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">f. Transparency<\/strong>  &#8211; collecting and evaluating the results of actions taken, plans implemented and performance indicators<br><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">g. learning from mistakes  <\/strong>&#8211; recognise the causes of railway accidents and incidents and the mistakes made in their own and others&#8217; practices, learn from them and apply this knowledge to identify and implement preventive measures to prevent their recurrence.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3356\"><strong>6<\/strong> The Safety Policy is binding on all O\u00dc Railtech personnel and everyone, regardless of their position, is responsible for its successful implementation in the company in accordance with their competence.<\/p><p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3536\"><strong>7.<\/strong> The management of O\u00dc Railtech is generally responsible for the implementation of the safety policy, including.
